Ring

Designed by

Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel

1955

This solid silver ring is designed to fit the ring finger of the left hand. The taper of the ring hugs the right side of the finger, while the body curves down toward the hand, making the finger appear longer. The ring, together with a set of earrings, won the silver medal at the Milan Triennial in 1957. This was one of Nanna Ditzel's favourite rings, and she wore it often.
