Earrings

Designed by
Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel
1955
These earrings belong to the more organic jewellery of the ‘50's. Each earring consists of oval soldered shells that taper upward. The ends form a small opening between which the earlobe is pressed. This attachment, without visible clips or screws, was not common at the time. The earrings won the silver medal at the Milan Triennial in 1957.
