“Around 1950, I was wildly excited by the idea of designing jewelry - partly because it was practically forbidden. After all, we were functionalists, and since jewelry serves no function, people didn't wear it." (Hanne Horsfeld ‘Nanna Ditzel’). The 18K gold brooch with pearl from 1963, was relaunched in 2026 as part of Georg Jensen's The Collector collection, a series of heirloom pieces designed by female artists who collaborated with Georg Jensen in the second half of the 20th century.
